It’s with great joy we can announce another Nick Rado humble brag. Last night at the 2013 NZ Comedy Guild Awards Nick Rado won ‘Best Show’ and for the first time in NZ comedy history he has taken out NZ’s best MC award for the third year in a row.
Nick was quoted in saying “I am unbelievably stoked … plus thank you Jarred Christmas for not being in the country” Here are some photos from the night. To see the other winners from the 2013 NZ comedy Guild awards click here.
If you missed season 2′s hilarious first episode of Auckland Daze you should do yourself a favour and Watch it here.
If you do you might just see one Mr Nick Rado guest appearing in the show. This will also be the closest Nick gets to working with Hollywood great Martin Henderson and Jim from Neighbours.
Thank you so much to the over 120 people who attended live and all those who watched online. Typhoon Haiyan, thought to be the most powerful tropical cyclone ever recorded in the country’s history, ravaged the Philippines on November 7. Devastating landfalls have killed over 4,000 people and affected a staggering 11 million – with more than $1.33 billion in damages. Hundreds of thousands of people have now been left homeless in Haiyan. The Philippines is home to nearly a 100 million people so every little bit raised helps.
You can still donate by clicking on the poster in this post.
Tickets are $35 per person. Please note – the gig will be standing with bar leaners.
